Valhalla Holiday Home is a family owned and very comfortable 4 bedroom self catering holiday home in the picturesque highland village of Helmsdale in Sutherland, Scotland. The house is perfectly suited for upto 8 guests seeking a change of pace with beautiful scenery, great local fishing, challenging golf courses, coastal and highland walking routes, and is conveniently located to all the village shops, cafes and pubs.
Historically, the house was the former village police station and has been renovated, modernised and upgraded. It is now a cosy and well equipped self-catering holiday let located in Sutherland Street.
Valhalla is situated in HELMSDALE, a pretty coastal highland village situated on the north east coast of Scotland, 68 miles north of Inverness on the A9 motorway. Helmsdale is the perfect base to explore many interesting areas.

Valhalla Home Facilities
The lounge at the front of the house is well equipped and very comfortable with a cosy wood burner, a 50-inch flat-screen TV with Sky channels, free Wifi for all gadgets, and a selection of books and games for all the family to enjoy.
The kitchen and dining room is a wide open space with views of a private garden and garage. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for visitors who love all cooking levels, with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven.
Valhalla has a renovated upstairs family bathroom with an electric shower, one downstairs shower room and WC, and one smaller washroom beside the Kilphedir bedroom on the ground floor.
Suisgill room is one of our upstairs bedrooms, has a comfortable king-size bed, a large wardrobe, a dressing table and is decorated in duckegg blue.
Kilphedir room is located downstairs and has a king-size bed, a large wardrobe, a dressing table, a chest of drawers and a TV. The traditional Scottish plaid furnishings and decorative fur rugs create a cosy atmosphere.
Torrish room has a very comfortable zip'n'lock twin or double super king bed, a large chest of drawers, and a small built-in cupboard and is decorated in blackberry tones.
Caen room has twin beds and is an ideal size for those happy to share.
